Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Route B144, Serengeti National Park) – located near the Grumeti River at the heart of the Serengeti, adjacent to the Western Corridor, this lodge is 335 km. west of Arusha. Diners and guests have the options of order a “Bush Lunch” (a four-course menu with active grilling of meats, along with salads, soups, and dessert and/or tropical fruits). After 6 pm, there’s the “Bush Dinner” (a five-course dinner is prepared on the blazing charcoal BBQ). There’s a choice of meat, fish and poultry that can be supplemented by vegetarian choices, salads, fruit and desserts from the set buffet. Also, a full safari bar is provided.
